Industrial sales gain speed from bulk capture across similar assets. Consignments will arrive in bulk and will need to be processed and managed within a busy warehouse or outside yard environment. Internal and external client records need to match consignment documents and then need to be stored within the system.

Online and hybrid sales give bidders access beyond the physical saleroom. A 2026 peer-reviewed study of hybrid fine art and antiques auctions found that auction teams adapted their working practices to coordinate remote and in-room bids within a shared bidding environment. The research also found that this approach can reduce differences between remote and physically present bidders and encourage participation.3
